RIGHT NOW WE ARE PARTICULARLY INTERESTED IN HEARING FROM ANYONE WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED TO HELP WITH THE FOLLOWING:
TRACTON FILM CLUB is looking for Volunteer Film Projectionists to join the Inkwell Film Club team! Films arrive from Access Cinema about a week before screening, either by disc or by digital download. There is a computer provided for digital downloads. Duties include receiving and checking the film, making sure it runs smoothly, showing the film on film night, also checking the sound is operating correctly and at the right volume. Training will be provided, and there will always be support. You will get to see an interesting variety of films, and have the opportunity to be involved in programming if you wish.
Film nights are usually on the second Friday of each month and are busy, sociable, enjoyable evenings. Please email film@tracton.org if you are interested. We also need people willing to help out occasionally on the ticket desk, and with serving refreshments.
