LIVE CONCERTS & SHOWS

CONCERTS Some will take place on an outdoor stage, under the cover of a stretch tent. The tent will have sides for extra shelter when necessary, but if chilly weather is forecast, please bring warm clothes. (For precise location details, see individual ticket links.)

 HARVEST - Neil Young Tribute Band are joining our festival for the first time this year, on Saturday evening, to play 'unplugged' - a very intimate and special acoustic show. 

They will be joined by special guests Annette Buckley and Ronan Holohan, presenting "Under The Ivy" - a re-imagining of the songs of Kate Bush.

MELIORA QUARTET For classical music lovers  - this young and talented string quartet will be joining us, fresh from their performance at the West Cork Chamber Music Festival, with music from Beethoven and Janáček. This fabulous group of young musicians (all studying at Cork School of Music) includes Kseniia Yershova, who wowed us last year when she performed at our festival with her sisters. KIDS...
On Sunday morning a very special  musical production of Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhyme version of the classic tale LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD and the THE WOLF. A 60 minute musical suitable for all ages, by a cast of 13 fabulous young actors aged between 9 and 14 years of age, from all over Cork City and County.  Meet Red Riding Hood and her dog Sniffy, her Granny, three very silly Pigs and their supporters, and a Wolf and his gang with big eyes, big ears and a big appetite!

CIRCUS TRICKS...
Also on Sunday, throughout the afternoon, prepare to be amazed by Garry Rossiter - who has been performing his comedy and circus show at festivals and pageants across the country for over 20 years. You might be lucky enough to see him on his unicylcle, stilt-walking, plate-spinning, juggling, or even fire-eating!

FREE - On Sunday afternoon our amazing local musicians will provide great music and a laid-back atmosphere with the *Sunday Sessions* - free live music from 2pm till 9pm! ​The final musical performance of the festival will be by the Cork-based band DYIN' BREED. Founded by local guitarist and guitar-maker, Ari Sheehan from Crosshaven, Dyin' Breed have been shakin' crowds since 2012 with their Sounds of Rory Gallagher!
