Once you create your account, you will have the option to create a new membership and add in County Cork and Tracton A.C. Club.
There are two types of membership: Adult and Juvenile. Choose the applicable membership type.
The platform will automatically adjust for multi-member discounts if applicable.
When you have completed the process, we will get an alert and will approve the request to join. You will then receive a payment link from Athletics Ireland. When paid, you will be added to the Whatsapp Tracton AC group.
Adult Training
Members of the club train regularly on our club track at Tracton Arts & Community Centre on Monday evenings and Thursday Evenings at 7.15pm.
During the summer months, we train on a local road on Thursday evenings and once a month do a trail run in the local woods.
We also run Couch to 5k programmes and Strength & Conditioning classes throughout the year.
Adult members compete regularly in 5km, 10km, half-marathons and full marathons at home and abroad!
Our club coach, Ian Dorgan, leads these sessions and the focus is on running technique and endurance in preparation for the racing season ahead.
All levels of fitness and ability are welcome in our club.
Running Track
The track consists of fine stone packed tightly together, is approximately 3 metres in width, and measures 380m approximately in distance.
