Sunday, 21st August
Official opening on Saturday 20th August at 11am with a few songs by Cork’s own JOHN SPILLANE, musician, songwriter, performer, recording artist, storyteller and nature lover.
We are delighted to showcase our outstanding natural heritage with a stunning photographic exhibition of some local wildlife never before seen in public. Many of these species are now in imminent danger of disappearance. Tracton Biodiversity Group aims, with the help and support of our community, to reverse this decline; to protect our precious aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems through public events such as this and engagement with stakeholders and policy makers.
Come and join us to help promote the cause of habitat protection and species retention in this highly valued and exceptionally beautiful part of Cork.

To the members of these different species Tracton is home; it provides the special conditions they require to survive, grow, thrive and rear their families.
WATER QUALITY SURVEY

This survey will be carried out in due course, and the results will be reported here when they are available. Please click here for further details.
If you are interested to learn more about the wonderfully unique environment in which you live, and also fun ways in which you and your family can appreciate and contribute to maintaining this biodiversity, please provide us with your email address so that we can notify you of upcoming activities and events.
