For anyone who enjoyed the fabulous bluegrass and roots duo Long Way Home (Owen Schinkel from the Netherlands and Kylie Kay Anderson from Utah, USA) - and their songs (e.g. Left Over Biscuits - reminder below) when they last visited Tracton in 2022 - their return, along with a few equally talented friends, will be a real treat. King Springs Road is an American/Dutch/German band first formed by bluegrass-fanatic college room-mates in East Tennessee in 2017. This is a rare international collaboration that needs to be heard. They are excited to bring their music and their unique international story to The Inkwell Theatre!

" I recently played The Inkwell Theatre and had a really great experience. It's a lovely sounding and intimate performance space.
I think this venue can serve as a fantastic model in terms of professionalism for other small communities. They have proven what a truly dedicated and committed group of volunteers can achieve in terms of enriching their community's artistic life. The Inkwell is located in the middle of the countryside and yet easily rivals what we normally expect to see happening artistically in larger towns and cities. This is a venture that truly deserves to be supported. " Martin Hayes - Master Fiddler and Patron of The Inkwell Theatre " It's a real honour to be associated with The Inkwell theatre. It's an eclectic and vibrant space - both local and outward looking - and always welcoming. Music will be played, stories told and coming together - we will be the better for it. " Enda Walsh - Playwright and Patron of The Inkwell Theatre |
