BRIAN and CHARLES In this comedy, Brian lives alone in a remote village in the countryside. Something of an outcast, he spends his spare time inventing things out of objects found in his garage. Without friends or family to rely on, Brian decides to build a robot for company. Built from a washing machine and various other spare parts, 'Charles' is not only Brian's most successful invention, but he appears to have a personality all of his own, and quickly becomes Brian's best friend. However, Charles who learns English from a dictionary, and has an obsession with cabbages, also creates more problems than Brian bargained for, and the timid inventor has to face-up to several issues in his life...

MY SAILOR, MY LOVE Filmed on Achill Island this drama has been described as heartwarming, and certainly on the surface it paints a warm portrait of love in the later stages of life. Cranky retired sea captain Howard – once content with shutting himself off from the outside world – is forced to open his disorderly home, and subsequently his heart, to Annie a housekeeper hired by his overworked daughter Grace. However, what flows under the surface is far darker... unaddressed inter-generational trauma, and how the cost of fragmented relationships play out over time.

Like millions of Pakistanis, surely, Haider is confused about his sexuality. Also like millions of Pakistanis, he is unemployed. His father is a garden-variety patriarch who wants his son to get a job and give him a grandson. When Haider finally finds a job at an erotic-dance theatre, he tells his family that he is the theatre manager; in fact, he’s learning to be a backup dancer for an ambitious trans performer named Biba. In time, Haider falls in love with Biba...
