The 8th Tracton Music & Arts Festival will take place Thursday, 29th June - Sunday, 2nd July. A long weekend packed with concerts, film, snatch comedy, outdoor experiences, food, raffles and fun for all the family! Some of the events are ticketed, and many more are free! Free events include a short documentary by Lorraine Hogan called Sean Scoil (Old School) on our opening evening, the Tracton Artists’ Annual Exhibition all weekend, and on Sunday afternoon, let’s support our amazing local musicians, including Paul Tiernan, who will grace the outdoor stage with the *Sunday Sessions* - an afternoon of free live music!
Alongside the Sunday Sessions we are also looking forward to welcoming Terry Datson who will be facilitating community intuitive painting - another free event; you are invited to come along and make your mark - and the resulting work of art will become a momento of this year's festival. Also free pottery throwing, calligraphy, and a flower arranging demo. Lots for all to see and do! There will be homemade cakes and savouries, wood-fired pizza, barista coffee, and teas. Bar refreshments at the Large Marquee. Also the Sunday Market with homemade breads, jams, chutneys, cakes, plants and crafts! A truly family fun-filled festival weekend! |
